Professional training of the municipal authorities’ staff : problems and ways of its solution

Abstract

The article is devoted to improving professional training of the staff in public management offi ces. Th ere have been discovered a number of serious
problems with the post-soviet training of specialists for the municipal service. Urgent measures are necessarfy to be taken, above all, for reforming the system of additional professional training. It is not going to be easy and is meant for long-term prospects.
